Paste any URL — your homepage or a specific page. No account, no email, no credit card.
We load it in a real browser
Our scanner opens the page in a real headless browser and records every cookie, tracker and third-party request it sets — including what fires before any consent choice.

In seconds you get a plain-English compliance verdict, the full cookie and vendor list, and the specific issues to fix.
What the cookie scanner checks
- Cookies — every cookie set, with its vendor, category, first- or third-party status and lifetime.
- Third-party vendors — the analytics, advertising and tracking services running on the page, grouped by purpose.
- Trackers loaded before consent — the tags and cookies that fire before the visitor agrees, the most common compliance gap.
- Consent banner (CMP) — whether a consent management platform is present, and whether it actually blocks tracking beforehand.
- Google Consent Mode & IAB TCF — whether the consent signalling frameworks are in place.
- Cookie lifetimes — cookies with unusually long expiry that are worth reviewing.
Why cookies loaded “before consent” matter
Under the EU/UK ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, non-essential cookies and trackers generally must not load until the visitor has given consent. A cookie banner on its own isn’t enough — if analytics or advertising scripts run the moment the page opens, the banner is cosmetic.
That’s the gap this scanner is built to surface: it shows exactly which vendors and cookies fire before a choice is made. If you want the background, our guides on GDPR cookie consent requirements, Google Consent Mode v2, and whether Google Analytics requires consent go deeper.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The scan and the full report are free, with no account or email required. You only sign up if you want to fix the issues with Concentio.
Yes — this is the core of the report. We record which cookies, vendors and trackers fire before any consent choice is made, since that’s the most common compliance gap under GDPR and ePrivacy.
It’s a strong starting point: it detects the technical signals that matter for GDPR and ePrivacy cookie compliance. It is not legal advice, and a clean scan doesn’t by itself make a site compliant — but it shows you exactly where the gaps are.
Most tools list cookies. We also identify the vendors behind them, detect whether you have a working consent banner, and — most importantly — flag what loads before consent, which is what regulators actually care about.
Concentio fixes them: it blocks non-essential scripts until the visitor consents, adds a configurable consent banner, and keeps proof of consent — set up in minutes, free to start.
